Membership
We hope that all staff, students, parents, guardians or other members of the community will consider joining the BHS Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) for the 2006– 2007 school year. Membership cost is $5 per year. Your membership helps our local chapter in its mission of providing support to our school and the students.
The primary focus of our local group is to support academics at BHS . In addition to supporting BHS and its students, when you become a member of the Brunswick High PTSA, you are also joining citizens around the county, state, and nation in securing adequate laws for the education, care, and protection of youth.

Please note that we encourage all students to become members as well. In addition to being eligible for the PTSA annual scholarship in their senior year, our student members play a large role in deciding what student-led programs and activities our group will sponsor in the coming years. Student members also have the opportunity to gain leadership and volunteer experience with their involvement in the group.
Optional Donation: Because the emphasis of the PTSA is volunteering and advocacy, we do not engage in significant fundraising activities. Therefore, we depend heavily on parent and community donations to support the programs and activities with which we are involved. Programs such as the PTA-sponsored Reflections competition, school beautification, scholarships, staff appreciation, and parent communication endeavors are some of the expenses we will encounter this year. Please consider an optional tax deductible contribution with your membership. We will mail receipts for your tax records for any contributions over $10
