Fundraisers

Our organization will focus on volunteering and advocacy rather than fundraising, this presents a challenge in obtaining the necessary operating funds. We ask for your support whether or not you choose to become a PTSA member. A donation to the Brunswick High School PTSA Inc. stays inside our local group and goes directly to fund projects at BHS. We will mail receipts for all donations over $10 as your contributions are tax deductible. This is a great way you can help academic programs at BHS.

A big thanks to all of you who participated in the family photograph fundraiser! The feedback we received about the photographer and the quality of the product was great. The PTSA raised $225 with only a small participation, so we are hoping next year’s participation will be much higher once the word gets around. Next year the system will be changed so that there is more flexibility with the photograph session dates and locations. Plan now for that long awaited family photo or Christmas Cards 2007.

The money we raise with this and our next fundraiser is earmarked for special materials and programs needed by the academic departments. The details of our next fundraiser are still being worked out, but we hope everyone will help us out to help us enrich the educational and classroom experiences of our children.
