Horticulture/Florticulture I
This is an introductory course in plant science associated with the areas of horticulture and florticulture. Students raise plants for themselves and for sale in the school's greenhouse.  They learn how to reproduce plants and make flower arrangements. In the greenhouse laboratory they will grow poinsettias, mums, and many other common greenhouse plants. Fifty percent of the class time will be spent in the laboratory activities. Class activities include corsage making, table arrangements, landscaping holiday decorations, spring flower and vegetable production.

Horticulture/Florticulture II
This course includes laboratory experiences in flower production, plant propagation, an introduction to landscaping, flower arranging, vegetable and bedding plant production in the school greenhouse, and care of the house plants.  Second level students concentrate in advanced areas including greenhouse management, production of commercial greenhouse crops, landscape maintenance, advanced floral design, and pesticide safety.

Horticulture/Florticulture III
In this third level students concentrate in laboratory experiences such as, the greenhouse flowershop, and outdoors. Management skills, marketing, and landscape drawing are also stressed.
